1. General Payment Information
Capilux Medical accepts payment for products through the payment methods made available during checkout, quotation or direct commercial agreement.
The available payment methods may vary depending on the customer’s country, order value, currency, customer type and technical availability.
2. Accepted Payment Methods
Depending on availability, customers may be able to pay using:
- Credit cards
- Debit cards
- Bank transfer
- International SWIFT transfer
- Approved online payment service providers
- Other payment methods specifically offered during checkout
Only payment methods actually enabled and displayed during checkout or confirmed in writing by Capilux Medical should be considered available.
3. Credit and Debit Card Payments
Where card payments are available, eligible credit and debit cards may be accepted through an authorised payment service provider.
Card transactions may be subject to verification, authorisation, authentication and fraud-prevention procedures imposed by the card issuer, acquiring bank or payment service provider.
A card payment is not considered completed until the transaction has been successfully authorised or otherwise confirmed by the relevant payment service.
4. Bank Transfer
Bank transfer may be available for selected orders and business customers.
Where bank transfer is selected, the customer will receive the relevant payment instructions through checkout, invoice, quotation or direct communication.
Orders paid by bank transfer may not be processed or dispatched until the funds have been received and identified.
5. International SWIFT Transfer
International customers may be offered payment by SWIFT bank transfer.
The customer is responsible for using the correct payment reference and ensuring that the amount received by Capilux Medical corresponds to the invoiced amount.
Bank fees, intermediary bank charges or currency conversion costs may apply. Unless otherwise agreed, such charges are borne by the party charged by the relevant financial institution.
6. Payment Security
Capilux Medical takes reasonable measures to ensure that online payments are processed through secure and authorised payment systems.
Where card or online payment processing is provided by a third-party payment service provider, sensitive card information may be transmitted directly to that provider rather than stored by Capilux Medical.
Capilux Medical does not intend to store full card numbers or card security codes on its own systems where payment processing is handled externally.
7. Strong Customer Authentication
Certain electronic payments may require Strong Customer Authentication or another security verification method in accordance with applicable payment rules.
Depending on the transaction and payment provider, authentication may involve methods such as a banking application, one-time password, biometric authentication or another security factor.
Authentication requirements are generally controlled by the payment provider, issuing bank or applicable payment network.
8. Payment Provider
Capilux Medical may use one or more authorised payment service providers to process online transactions.
The identity of the active provider and any provider-specific information will be disclosed when the applicable payment service is activated.
Payment providers may process transaction information in accordance with their own legal obligations and privacy policies.
9. Currencies
Prices and payments may be offered in one or more currencies depending on website configuration and the customer’s location.
The currency applicable to the transaction will be displayed before the order is submitted.
If the customer’s bank or payment provider converts the transaction into another currency, exchange rates or conversion charges may be applied by that institution.
10. Total Amount Payable
Before an online order is submitted, the customer will be shown the total amount payable, including applicable taxes, shipping charges and other mandatory costs that can reasonably be calculated in advance.
Optional additional services will not be added without the customer’s explicit selection or agreement where required by law.
11. Payment Obligation
The checkout process will clearly indicate when submission of the order creates an obligation to pay.
The final checkout button may use wording such as “Order & Pay” or another unambiguous equivalent.
12. Failed or Declined Payments
A payment may be declined or fail for reasons including insufficient funds, incorrect payment details, authentication failure, fraud controls, card restrictions, bank policies or technical issues.
If a payment fails, the order may remain unpaid, pending or cancelled until a valid payment method is successfully completed.
13. Pending Payments
Certain payment methods may require additional processing time.
Orders may be placed on hold while a payment remains pending or while payment confirmation is awaited from the relevant financial institution.
14. Fraud Prevention
Capilux Medical and its payment partners may conduct reasonable checks to prevent fraudulent transactions, unauthorised card use, identity misuse or other payment abuse.
We may request additional verification information where reasonably necessary before accepting or dispatching an order.
15. Card Surcharges
Capilux Medical will comply with applicable rules concerning fees for payment methods.
Where applicable consumer law prohibits surcharges for certain consumer credit or debit card payments, no prohibited surcharge will be imposed.
16. Refunds
Approved refunds will generally be returned using the original payment method where possible and appropriate.
The time required for a refund to appear in the customer’s account may depend on the payment provider, bank, card issuer or payment method.
Refund eligibility is governed by our Returns & Refund Policy, Terms & Conditions and applicable law.
17. Duplicate or Incorrect Charges
If a customer believes they have been charged more than once or charged an incorrect amount, they should contact Capilux Medical promptly.
We may request the order number and relevant payment information required to investigate the transaction.
18. Invoices and Billing Information
Customers are responsible for providing accurate billing information.
Business customers should provide the correct legal company name, registered address, VAT number and other required invoicing details.
Invoices and accounting documents will be issued in accordance with applicable legal, tax and accounting requirements.
19. Business Customers
Business, wholesale, clinic or distributor orders may be subject to separately agreed payment terms, quotations, deposits, credit arrangements or payment schedules.
Where separately agreed commercial terms exist, those terms may supplement these general Payment Methods provisions.
20. Payment Confirmation
Customers may receive an electronic confirmation after successful payment or order acceptance.
Customers should retain order confirmations, invoices and payment records for their records.
21. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
Customers who believe a transaction is incorrect should contact Capilux Medical as soon as possible so that the issue can be investigated.
Fraudulent or abusive use of payment disputes or chargeback procedures may result in the suspension of an account or order, without affecting any rights granted by mandatory law.
22. Personal Data and Payments
Personal data processed in connection with payments is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection law.
Payment service providers may process information independently where required to provide payment services or comply with their legal obligations.
